Next, visit the Kasbah-an ancient fortress situated upon the hill, commanding stunning views over both the city and the Mediterranean Sea. The Kasbah Museum, which is inside the fortress, provides insight into the many pasts of Tangier, including its status as an international city.
From here, head to the American Legation Museum, an 18th-century building with historic exhibits on Morocco's relations with the United States. This museum gives emphasis to Tangier's role as a bridge for diplomatic and cultural ties between Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
Afternoon: Take a leisurely afternoon walk along the scenic Tangier Corniche, a seafront promenade. Take Mediterranean views while enjoying one of the many water-front cafes. This is also a great place to relax and take in the mixture of European and North African influences that so define the atmosphere of this city.

The overnight stay will be in Tangier, where your day will end so that you can continue the journey the following day.
After breakfast, we will head for the Tangier to Chefchaouen drive through a very beautiful road in the Rif Mountains. It will take approximately 2 hours, following a route with wonderful views through the countryside of Morocco as it approaches the so-called "Blue City."

Inside are narrow, glazed-tile-and-min-bar adorned walls and a tile-backed courtyard lined with carved cedar wood. The medersa certainly counts among the best exemplars of the refinement under the Merinid interpretation that Moroccan architecture underwent.
Now, stroll through the Mellah, or Jewish quarter
From there, and not far from the medersa, the Mellah de Fes represents the Jewish Quarter of the city, which goes back to the 16th century. Narrow, curving streets lined with peeks into one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in the country add up to historic houses and make the Mellah display show windows toward Moroccan Jewish life, its synagogues, markets, and particular architecture.

Take a drive from Telouat to the famous Ait Benhaddou, the UNESCO World Heritage site, home to one of the country's most famous kasbahs. The iconic architecture with Ait Benhaddou made the place gain even more popularity after appearing in numerous films, including "Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones." Evening arrival to Marrakech. After checking into your riad or hotel, take some time out after a day of touring. You can take an evening stroll on lively streets or simply rest after this long and unforgettable tour across the various landscapes of Morocco.
The 14 day Morocco tour itinerary includes a traditional Moroccan breakfast followed by meeting your guide, who will be quite versed in the locale, helping you get around better, sharing some fascinating stories, and pointing out all the best places in Marrakech.
The famous square within the heart of the city, Jemaa el-Fna, would be our first stop on this tour. The area is large and buzzing with activity at all times. Here, you get street performers, dancers, musicians, and even storytellers who enchant the audiences. Full of food stalls with all kinds of Moroccan delicacies-grilled meat, fresh orange juices, sweet pastries-on sale, just beware of snake charmers since they sometimes bring live snakes to do their tricks.
Next is a short walk down to the Koutoubia Mosque, the biggest mosque in Marrakech, starting from Jemaa el-Fna. This is a tall, imposingly towered mosque and one of the most striking landmarks within town. Since access inside the mosque itself is restricted to non-Muslims, one will never get tired of seeing its beauty from the outside, as well as the architectural details of the building.
Next, we’ll explore the Medina, the old town of Marrakech. The Medina is like a maze, with narrow streets full of small shops, hidden courtyards, and vibrant markets (called souks). Here, you’ll find everything from colorful clothes and spices to handmade pottery and jewelry. Take your time to explore the area and enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells, but be careful not to get lost in the winding alleys!
We will pass through the Medina for a visit to Bahia Palace, a beautiful old palace created in the 1800s, very characteristic in its style and tilework. With its beautiful gardens and inner courtyards, it could give an opportunity to show a view of rooms showing craftsmanship at its best within this private rich residence.
Next, we will move on to the quiet Majorelle Garden. This is a beautiful garden designed by the French artist Jacques Majorelle, later owned by the famous fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. The whole garden is full of colored plants, including cacti and palm trees, besides having vibrant blue buildings in it. This is simply a great place to get away from the hustle-bustle and enjoy the beauty of nature. Inside the garden, there is also a small museum where you can get an insight into Moroccan art and culture.
At the last stop, we will take a visit to the Saadian Tombs, ancient burying grounds for members of the Saadian dynasty. The grave is really attractive with small tiles and wood carvings that make you feel how historical the land of Morocco is. These tombs have been buried for several decades and recently opened to visitors. Now, one is able to view the beauty of these closely.
These range from the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, teeming with people, to the peaceful gardens and historic sites by the end of the tour. The city of Marrakech is full of life and culture, and this tour barely scratches the surface.
You will be met right after breakfast by your guide, and heading to Essaouira, which is an Atlantic coastal city. During the approximately 2.5 to 3-hour ride, sit comfortably and enjoy the nice scenes around you during the route.
This will take you through some breathtaking scenery, with olive groves, farms, and small villages along the way. It's a very smooth drive, and you'll feel like you're experiencing another Morocco altogether, away from the madness of Marrakech.
You'll arrive in Essaouira and immediately feel the cool ocean breeze. It is known for its old medina, beaches, and blue-and-white buildings.
Your first stop will be Medina of Essaouira, which is listed in UNESCO World Heritage. Compared to Marrakech, the streets here are much smaller, and most of them have little stores with local products, such as handicrafts made of wood, jewelry, and spices. Wander through the narrow streets and take the time to appreciate this beauty provided by the blue-colored doors and windows.
Next, you will be taken to the Essaouira Ramparts, old city walls protecting the Medina. You'll get a stunning view of the ocean and the harbor with colorful fishing boats from here.
Following your tour to the Medina, you may wish to take time out at the beach. Essaouira has extensive sandy beaches where one can have an easy, quiet walk or observe, from afar, the kitesurfers.
Essaouira is famous for its fresh fish. You may have some grilled fish at one of the local restaurants along the beach or at the harbor area. The fish here is delicious and very fresh!
After a day of sightseeing, you’ll have a chance to rest in one of the cozy hotels or riads in Essaouira. Spend the evening relaxing, exploring the streets, or having a nice dinner in a local restaurant.
After breakfast, meet your guide and hit the road to Casablanca while driving alongside scenic coastal landscapes dotted by small seaside towns.
Take a quiet town, with one of the most beautiful lagoons in the country, also very famous for its oysters. Take advantage of the possibility of staying on the beach, taking walks along the water, and tasting all types of oysters in a restaurant. From there, you will resume your route towards Casablanca via the Atlantic coast; a drive with great ocean scenery.
Late afternoon/ evening: Arrive in Casablanca, check-in to your hotel, and then spend the rest of your evening exploring the town, taking a walk along the seafront, and having dinner in one of the local restaurants. Note that Casablanca is very lively and modern; you can spend a night here, which is not compulsorily included.
