Your 2-day Marrakech to Zagora Desert Tour starts with a pick up from your Marrakech hotel or Ryad at around 7:30 a.m. This drive will take you first to the Tizi N’Tichka Pass where you can enjoy the wonderful natural and architectural scenes such the palm trees and the mud-brick Berber villages scattered on the summits of mountains. All over the road, you can ask for stops in order to take a break and stretch your legs, take some memorable pictures, or drink a cup of coffee or mint tea. After crossing the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, we will reach the town of Ait Ben Haddou where the preserved Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou stands. This Kasbah is known for being a UNESCO world heritage site. It is also known for being a shooting site of many Hollywood famous films such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. After having lunch in a local restaurant in Ait Ben Haddou town or Ouarzazate, our next step is the Berber town of Agdez, which means a rest site for trade caravans in the Berber language. It is also known for its wonderful palm trees and oases. Late in the afternoon, we will arrive at Zagora. In this town, camels are waiting for you in order to join a wonderful camel trekking journey towards the Zagora Sahara Desert while enjoying a spectacular sunset. The camels will take you directly to the Sahara Desert camp where you can have lunch and enjoy the musical local rhythms around a campfire and under the starlit sky.

In the early morning of the next day, you can have breakfast and join a sunrise camel riding trip to take some pictures and enjoy the natural scenes. The next destination is Ouarzazate where you can visit the Kasbah of Taourirte. Then, you can have lunch at a local café or restaurant.
