Best 2-Night Camping in the Sahara Desert Morocco Merzouga

The first day of our 2 nights camel trekking experience starts with an afternoon camel ride towards the Sahara Desert Camp. Along the way, you will witness the beautiful sunset over the golden sand dunes. So, to make the experience unique for you, you can take a break and stop in order to sightsee the charming sunset and take some lifetime pictures.

Moreover, you can also experience sandboarding and other activities. Upon your arrival at the Sahra Desert Camp, you will be welcomed by the Sahara Desert Camp’s staff who will offer you a cup of mint tea and play the local nomadic music for you. In the Sahara Desert Camp, you will enjoy the delicious dinner of a wide range of local dishes. Afterwards, you can join your private tent and have a good sleep under the starlit sky which allows you to have beautiful and sweet dreams.

The second day of our two nights camel trek in the Moroccan Sahara Desert begins with witnessing a spectacular sunrise, then you will enjoy a delicious local breakfast in the camp. Afterwards, you will embark in a camel caravan in order to cross the ‘’Black Desert’’ which is locally known as ‘’La Hamada’’ in the Berber language. It is called the Black Desert thanks to its vast landscape of black volcanic stones. In the ‘’Hamada’’, you will be hosted by a Nomad family and enjoy tea and Berber Pizza. We will resume our journey in order to discover more secrets of the desert. After that, we will witness another charming sunset and spend the night in a nearby desert camp.

The last day of our 2 nights Merzouga camel trip commences in the early morning. Our travelers will ride a camel or 4wd car, depending on their choice. The destination is the town of Merzouga where our journey ends.
