Day 1 :

Fes - Ifrane - Midelt - Merzouga Desert (7 hours drive)

Your journey from Fes starts in early morning with breakfast in your hotel or Ryad. At around 7:00 a.m or 8:00 a.m (Winter time and summer time respectively), your English-speaking driver/guide will pick you up for a memorable adventure through the Middle Atlas Mountains where you can enjoy the cedar forests with its breathtaking nature.

Stops are possible in order to meet the Barbary monkeys and take some lifetime pictures. Our next destination is Midelt, the city that is known for apple trees fields, where you can have dinner and take a short break. Our way from Midelt takes us to the Ziz Valley where oases are the best natural scenes along with the majestic Kasbas all over the road to Erfoud, Rissani and Merzouaga.

Such a long drive from Fes to Merzouga requires taking a short break before beginning the Sahara Desert adventure. So, exactly before sunset, you will have a chance to enjoy camel trek in the Erg Chebbi dunes towards the desert camp and witness the sunset. In the Sahara Desert camp, you will have dinner, enjoy the nomad local music and spend the night in the starlit sky.

Day 2 :

Merzouga - Rissani - Tinghir - Boumalne Dades (4hours drive)

At sunrise time, you will ride a camel from the Sahara Desert camp back to Merzouga. In Merzouga, you will be back on road to the city of Rissani, the cradle of the Alaouite Dynasty.

After a stop in the Rissani market, our next destination is Tinghir Oasis where you can wander through the Berber village and the riverbank in order to unveil the secrets of the town.

Your walk will take you to the Todra Gorges where you can enjoy delicious local meals for lunch. The next destination is the Dades Valley where you can spend the night in Dades Valley lodge.

Day 3 :

Dades - Skoura Oasis - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech (6 hours drive)

At breakfast time, we will cross the Valley of Roses to Kallaa Megouna. Upon your request, we can visit one of the Rose water cooperatives and discover how local people distill rose water.

The next destinations are Skoura Oasis and Ouarzazate, known for their palm trees and cinema films studios respectively. Then, the UNESCO-World Heritage site, the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which is known for its wonderful buildings.

Our next pass is towards The Atlas Mountains through the Tizi N’Tichka pass where Berber mud-brick villages are above mountains’ summits. In this journey, you will learn and discover a lot about the local culture.
